Everyone needs to detoxify!

It’s the body’s way to clean house.  It removes the garbage deposited in all the tissues.

What is a Toxin?  What Causes Toxicity?

It is a poisonous substance of animal, plant or chemical origin.  Toxicity is caused from waste materials from industrial plants, smog from vehicles, and chemicals in agriculture, cleaning solvents, cosmetics and even prescription drugs.

How is it Affected?

It’s in the soil where food is grown.  It’s in the drinking water supply.  It’s in the air we breathe.  It affects the organs and tissues of your body.

What is a Filler?

It is in the food you consume, especially if it is canned, frozen, packaged, processed, gassed, irradiated, over-cooked, microwaved.

Canned and Packaged Foods contain:

Nitrates and Nitrites (cured meats) and have been found to be carcinogenic.

Sulfites* (light-colored fruits and vegetables, cookies, crackers, and cereals) to prevent discoloration. *According to FDA, one in 100 people are ‘Sulfite sensitive’.

MSG*  aka ‘hydrolyzed’ is added for palatability and to trick your taste-buds into thinking it tastes good; therefore, it must be wholesome food.  MSG is also in frozen foods; otherwise, the food would taste rather bland.  *Dangers of Food Additivies  by Mary Dallman

Soda Pop (Sugar Free) and Fast Foods contain:

Aspartame (NutraSweet and Equal) approved by FDA in 1993 for inclusion in all food stuffs with no restrictions.  This ingredient changes to formaldehyde (used to preserve dead bodies) and methanol (a deadly neurotoxin).

Caffeine (added to soft drinks) used as a stimulant

Pre-packaged or Processed Foods contain:

Olestra (fake fat) approved by FDA over objections of dozens of leading scientists.

BHA & BHT (prevents oxidation and retards rancidity)

rBGH (Recombinant Growth Hormone) injected into cow’s milk and consumed by you.

Antibiotics are injected into chickens, eggs, beef, dairy, and pork–for mass food production.  *Americans consume about 3 million pounds of antibiotics every year.  Antibiotics mutate the bad bacteria in the body which becomes more resistant to antibiotics. *Food 101, Journalist Michael Pollan, food expert featured in Food, Inc.

GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms) where the DNA in food has been altered and does not occur in nature.  Here are just a few:

Fritos Corn Chips, Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, Total Corn Flakes, Heinz Baby Cereal, Similac Isomil Soy Formula, Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Ball Park Franks, Duncan Hines Cake Mix, Ultra Slim Fast, Quaker Yellow Corn Meal, Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix, Land O’Lakes Butter, Fleishmann’s Margarine, Gardenburgers, McDonald’s French Fries, Ovaltine Malt Powdered Mix, Coca Cola, Nestle’s Chocolate, and Karo Corn Syrup.

What Makes Your Body Toxic?

*Each year the average American consumes 150 pounds of sugar and 566 cans of soft drinks (‘liquid candy’).  According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture that is equal to ’52 teaspoonfuls of added sugars per person per day’.  *Dr. Scott Werner, M.D., Digestion Absorption Awakened
